Agapanthus Festival: the Release of Poppin’ Pink
About this event
De Wet Plant Breeders, based at CND Nursery and The Aloe Farm, has developed the world’s first solid pink Agapanthus, Agapanthus Poppin’ Pink. After 21 years of breeding and selection by Andy de Wet and Quinton Bean, a true solid pink Agapanthus is finally a reality, and South Africa gets it first.
Join us for our pink party at the Agapanthus Festival at The Aloe Farm on Saturday 31 October or Sunday 1 November, from 9am until 4:30pm. At 11am Andy and Quinton talk about the journey of breeding Poppin’ Pink. Wear something pink!
Entry is free, and donations to our breeding and conservation programmes are appreciated. There is a spit braai and refreshments at your own cost. Booking is essential so we can plan for numbers, as space is limited.
