Eindelik. At last.
Eindelik means finally in Afrikaans. The venue sits on the Vergenoeg farm at the foot of the Magaliesberg ridge, with the Skeerpoort valley behind the guests.
Ceremonies are outdoors, with a choice of three: the Mountain Facing Chapel, the Arena or the Stables Chapel. The reception moves into the main indoor venue, wooden dining tables and warm farm lighting, with a backup generator for the lights, music and bar.
It is a nature reserve, so vultures overhead are part of the setting. Late afternoon is when the cliffs turn gold, and Highveld summer from October to March brings storm skies and green.
The indoor venue takes 80 to 250 guests, with a minimum of 80. Smaller weddings of 20 to 80 use the Arena or the Stables Chapel.
About an hour from both Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Eindelik sits on the farm at the foot of the ridge, where the light does something different in the late afternoon. The cliffs turn gold, the valley softens, and the whole Skeerpoort basin opens up behind your guests.
The day is planned to follow that light: an open-air ceremony with the Magaliesberg rising behind the aisle, canapés and pre-drinks as the cliffs turn gold, and then dinner, speeches and dancing indoors under warm farm lighting once the sun is down.

Family style. Canapes of mac and cheese balls, crispy halloumi and curry samosa. Mains of phyllo chicken pie, gammon, smashed baby potatoes, sweetcorn tart and green goddess salad. Mini Magnum to finish.
Feta rolls, bobotie samosas and Asian chicken sliders, bread service, rump slithers, peri-peri chicken, smashed cucumber, baby potatoes and miso pumpkin tart, then koeksisters and brownies.
Pulled pork sliders, chicken samosas, halloumi, jalapeno popper and feta rolls, bread service, pork belly, fillet, truffle mushroom pie, pesto gnocchi and baby potatoes, then brownies, Magnums and macaroons.
Pork bao buns, pofdas, rump skewers, braaibroodjie, caprese arancini and cheddar samosas, bread service, harissa chicken, fillet chimichurri, curry lamb, flatbreads, corn and potatoes, then pasteis de nata, macaroons, mini Magnums and white chocolate nougat.
