Art with Franci

I discovered my ability to draw while helping my daughter with a school project many years ago. What started as a simple moment turned into something that would completely change my life. It reminded me that it is never too late to explore new interests, or uncover talents you never knew you had.

I began teaching art as a way to support my passion, but over time it grew into something much bigger. Today, art is not just something I do, it is my full-time career and a deeply meaningful part of who I am. I can’t imagine my life without a paintbrush in my hand. And through my commissioned work, I have the privilege of creating pieces that hold real meaning for others, capturing moments, memories, and people they love.

I paint in all mediums, but my personal choice is oil, colour pencil and charcoal: charcoal realistic drawings, oil painting commissions, abstract paintings, realistic animals, still life and fantasy art. I trained under professional painter Denzil Herring from 2005 to 2008, hold an FBA from Unisa Business School of Learning, and studied at the Master Drawing Academy. I have owned Art with Franci since 2009.
