Made by locals who love it here

We offer a two-bedroom apartment located on the Redstone Mountains with a view of the dam. We include a splash pool, braai area and a boma, and we also do specialised romantic packages.

Nestled on the slopes of Redstone Mountain and sharing its beautiful surroundings with Anahata Nature Resort, Redstone Ridge is a peaceful mountain retreat offering breathtaking panoramic views of the nearby dam and the magnificent Magaliesberg mountain range. Surrounded by indigenous bush, lush green flora and dramatic rocky landscapes, it is an authentic bushveld experience where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and let the rhythm of the mountain set the pace of your stay.

Your hosts, Monique and Steven, created Redstone Ridge with one goal in mind: to offer a place where guests can truly slow down, relax, and feel at home. Every detail of the unit was thoughtfully considered to create a warm, comfortable, and welcoming space where you can reconnect with your loved ones and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. As passionate lovers of nature, animals, and adventure, we hope you’ll experience the same sense of peace and appreciation for the outdoors that inspired us to create this special mountain retreat. Redstone Ridge is run by Monique and Steven Crewe. We grew up in the area and we’re passionate about nature, animals and adventure, so we created Redstone Ridge as a place where guests can truly slow down, relax and feel at home.

We’re about 40 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria, close to The Barn at Redstone, the Upside Down House, rafting, hiking trails and some of Harties’ favourite restaurants. Redstone Ridge is proudly associated with the Madibeng Tourism Association.

Common questions

Is there Wi-Fi?

No, there’s currently no Wi-Fi or internet access on site, so plan ahead if you need to stay connected.

Do you serve breakfast, or is there a restaurant on site?

No, Redstone Ridge is self-catering with a fully equipped kitchenette. There are restaurants a few minutes away.

Is the pool open?

Yes, the outdoor pool is open all year round.

Are pets welcome?

By arrangement, so please contact us directly before booking. Small dogs are generally welcome and well-trained larger dogs are considered case by case.

Are children welcome?

Yes, any age. Children aged 6 and over are charged as adults, and we don’t have cots or extra beds.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 14:00 to 18:00 and check-out is 09:00 to 10:00. Please let us know your arrival time in advance.

Is there a deposit?

Yes, a refundable R1,000 damage deposit is payable in cash on arrival and refunded on departure.

How far is the nearest airport?

Lanseria is closest at 24km. OR Tambo is about 80 to 90km away, and Uber operates reliably in the area.

What’s the price per night?

Rates vary by date and season, so enquire directly and we’ll confirm pricing for your dates.
