our story
Everything on the field
Aviators is a working airfield with a kitchen at the end of the taxiway. Land the aircraft or park the bakkie, either way you end up at the same table, under the same Magaliesberg sky, with a cold one in front of you.
Flame-grilled steaks, ribs, eisbein, wings, wood-fired pizza and platters built for a table that came out for the whole afternoon. Aviation murals on the walls, aircraft on the apron, a fenced play area so the kids run themselves flat while you don’t move.
Craft beer is brewed and poured on the property, and the bar keeps everything else cold. Sunday roast, weekday specials and a kids’ menu that isn’t an afterthought.
Live music every weekend, loud enough to feel it, quiet enough to still hear the person across the table. Fridays kick off from 18:00, Saturdays and Sundays run from midday. Every Springbok test goes up on the big screens.
The restaurant and brewery, the butchery and deli, events and functions, the airstrip and heliport and the Aeropark hangar estate at The Coves all share this piece of ground and run as one place.

Flame-grilled steaks, ribs, eisbein, wings, wood-fired pizza and platters, with craft beer brewed on the property and a full bar, wine list and cocktails. Monday to Friday 10:00 to 22:00, Saturday 08:00 to 22:00, Sunday 08:00 to 17:00.

Butchery and deli
The same meat the kitchen grills, cut for your own fire. Aged steaks, boerewors, marinated packs, biltong and droewors, plus the wood, spice and sauce to go with it. Order ahead on a Friday and collect on your way through.
Fresh daily
Events and functions
Weddings, year-end functions, birthdays, club fly-ins, product launches and corporate days with an aircraft as the backdrop. Seated or standing, set menus, live music and parking on site.
