Louise Carver presents The Boathouse Affair
About this event
Some afternoons deserve a little more glamour. On the edge of Hartbeespoort Dam, with the Magaliesberg turning gold behind the water, the Boathouse steps back into the 1920s for one afternoon of cocktails, candlelight and timeless music.
Put on your pearls. Find the jacket you have been saving for an occasion. Arrive to a cocktail in your hand as we open the doors at 16:00, with a menu created for this day alone. Then, from 17:00 to 19:00, Louise Carver sings the songs you know and love, as the sun goes down and the water turns to honey and gold.
No schedule to keep. The only decision left is what to drink next.
Dress code is a touch of the twenties: pearls, feathers, waistcoats and a little Gatsby swagger. One afternoon only, and space is limited.
