Sparkle Queen Cleaning

Sparkle Queen Cleaning started during COVID, at a time when the world was uncertain and life changed for everyone. I started the business on my own, cleaning with nothing more than the products and equipment I already had in my own home. There was no big team, no fancy equipment and no established business behind me. It was simply me, my determination and the belief that I could build something of my own.

Because I am naturally an extremely particular person, some might even say a little OCD when it comes to cleanliness, I could not settle for doing an average job. I wanted to understand why certain products worked better than others, how to clean different surfaces correctly, how to remove stubborn stains and how to care for carpets and upholstery. So I taught myself. I researched, I practised, I experimented, I made mistakes and I learnt from them.

Eventually I could not do everything myself anymore, so I hired my first staff member. We worked together, learnt together and grew together, and slowly one client became another. A happy client would tell a friend, a friend would recommend us to a family member, and before we knew it Sparkle Queen was growing almost entirely through word of mouth. That means more to me than any advertisement ever could.

Today we do far more than a regular clean. For me, cleaning has never been about simply making something look clean. It is about doing the job properly, understanding the materials and surfaces we are working with, using the right products and equipment, and paying attention to the details that other people might overlook.

We did not grow overnight. We grew one clean at a time, one client at a time, one referral at a time. From one woman cleaning with what she had at home during COVID, to a growing professional cleaning company. Because your space deserves to sparkle.
