Making your home a happy one

Whether you are looking at a termite treatment to protect your investment or wish to make your home a safer place by having the most effective pest control, Harties Pest Control is able to provide you with a family friendly pest management service using the latest, most effective yet safe chemicals.

Harties Pest Control is a registered pest control operator (P 38454), providing pest control and pest management services to domestic and commercial properties in the Rustenburg, Brits, Hartbeespoort, Pretoria and Johannesburg area.

The business was started in 2017 by Elda Potgieter, who attends to every job personally and is happy to help in Afrikaans or English. People, photography and nature are her passions, and she brings the same care to every treatment: doing the work properly, and doing it as well as it can be done.

GOOD TO KNOW

Main points

Termites

Termites eat timber, hollowing it out from the inside, so the timber can appear to be bubbling or wrinkled. Inside a home most people find them in flooring, skirting boards and door frames. If you find a suspect skirting board or door frame, do not disturb or break open the damaged timber: the termites will shut down the disturbed area and possibly begin damaging elsewhere in your home. Call us for a termite inspection as soon as possible.

Termite treatments and soil poisoning

Cockroaches

Cockroaches are a high risk pest to have in your home. They carry a range of serious illnesses, breed rapidly and are highly resilient. A quick response is essential to prevent cockroaches in your home or spreading to your neighbours.

A quick response is essential

Rodents

Rats and mice do not only spread diseases and contaminate food, they also cause damage to your home. When you hear noises in your roof, walls or under your home they are not only nesting: they may be gnawing on your water pipes, plaster, ducting and electrical cables. Every year homes are water damaged and fires are caused by rodent infestations.

Rats and mice

Bed bugs, ants and flies

Bed bugs hide in the seams, creases and folds of mattresses, in bed frames and drawers, and multiply quickly. Ants travel through unhygienic areas before they end up on your countertops and cupboards. Flies contaminate food, dirty surfaces and spread disease. We have the equipment and knowledge to resolve all three.

Also carpet beetles, silverfish, fleas, ticks and mites

Safe for the family

The latest, most effective yet safe chemicals, so your home becomes a safer place while the pests go. Domestic and commercial properties.
