Say Howzit builds one page websites for small South African businesses, on the theory that most small businesses do not need ten pages, they need one that works. You fill in a single content brief, about thirty to forty five minutes of your time, and the design, the writing and the technical setup are handled from there.

The page has five sections: a hero at the top, a contact section at the bottom, and three middle sections you choose from a list that includes services, testimonials, a gallery, pricing, a menu, bookings and an FAQ. The price covers the domain, the hosting, the SSL certificate and a full year of maintenance, so there is nothing left to arrange separately. Sites go live in two to three weeks.

It is the one page corner of Studio SC, the design studio behind it, so the work comes from someone who has spent years building brands and websites for South African businesses. Danielle trained as an architect before moving into websites, and Say Howzit is the quicker, more affordable version of the same standard of work.

Everything is built on WordPress with Elementor, which keeps the site fully customisable and means any WordPress professional can pick it up later. Nothing is locked in, and the site is yours to keep.

Common questions

Is one page really enough for my business?
For most small businesses, yes. One well-built page does everything a customer needs: what you do, why to trust you, and how to reach you, without menus to get lost in. If you outgrow it, we can always add more.
Do I need to be techy?
Not at all. You send your details once and we handle the rest, including buying your domain and setting up hosting. You never touch the technical side.
How long until I'm live?
Most sites go live within two to three weeks of us receiving your content and photos. The more ready your details are, the faster we go.
Can I change things later?
After you're live, content updates are R450 per batch: send everything you want changed at once, and one batch covers up to ten changes (a piece of text swapped, a photo replaced, or an item added to a list). Changes or additions to the design of your page are a separate job, quoted before we touch anything.
What if I don't love it?
You will, but if something's not right we keep tweaking until it is. If we still can't get it right, you get your deposit back.
What do you need from me?
One content brief: a set of easy questions about your business that takes most people 30 to 45 minutes. Send that plus any photos or your logo, and we handle everything else.
Can I pay in instalments?
Every site is paid over three months as standard: a deposit to get started, then two monthly payments. With the launch special that's R2,025 to start, then two payments of R1,750. Same total, no extra cost, nothing to arrange.
